I bought this for my husband for Christmas but it really has been a gift for the both of us. We are both Buffy fans and rewatching our favorite episodes have been a blast and given us something to do together beside raising kids and working. A must have for all Buffy Lovers.

Rating: - Believe the Hype: Incredible Pacing and Details Make this a Can't Miss
Buffy will forever be remembered for meticulous characterization and peerless dialogue but it is important to point out the series is also one of the most extraordinarily well paced television shows from beginning to end. Whedon (and his legion of writers) has a knack for embedding wonderful 'one-shot' episodes in the middle of story arcs that take half a season to more than one season to play out. After a particularly draining emotional episode you will be rewarded with one that this hilariously off kilter, yet all of these little pieces never seem out of place from the big picture.

This is the only complete run of any television show I own and although I could do with the Blucas year and a half, I look forward to re-winding my way back through this series time and again.

The box set is a great setup. It has a small book inside that describes each episode and tells you on what disk you will find that episode. You open the lid to the box and the sides come out and you have the view of the faces of each of the disk holders and the book is on the top. The series is a lot of fun.
