This device works well and is comfortable to wear. What else can I say? It helps me keep track of where I am as far as my heart rate is concerned and from all indications it is pretty accurate.

Rating: - Omron HR-100C Monitor is tops
I have been very pleased with the Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor. I received the shipment within just a few days. The monitor does work best when it is wet, either from a little sweat or from wiping some water on your chest. At the gym, I don't even have to use the watch monitor as I work out on the elliptical. The monitor on the machine reads the data from my monitor and shows the heart rate. As I move around to other machines, the watch does the job. I am very happy with this product.

Rating: - The Complete Heart Monitor
I have used various heart monitors in my work out sessions for the past
4 years. I did try a self contained one that didn't require a chest strap
and it simply doesn't work fast enough to be useful.

I like the Omron monitor because it has complete features as well as quick
and easy access to the heart rate value. Time, alarm and stopwatch are all useful features.

Rating: - Maximizing my workout
I wanted to get more results, with less effort. So exercising in my target heart range was the way to do this. I (like a lot of people) who gain a lot of weight, then decide to exercise (or not), have a fear of dying from the exerted effort as a beginner. With a heart rate monitor, and knowing my maximum rate, as long as I stay under that, I can be confident that I AM NOT going to die. No more excuses not to add intensity to my exercise routines.

This was easy to learn, large digital read out.

Rating: - Do not waste your money!!
This is an awful monitor! I purchased 2 of them, 1 for me and 1 for my husband- 1 monitor stopped after 2 uses and the other has not worked correctly from the start. We changed the batteries in both and still no improvement. Just goes to show - you do get what you pay for. I am going back to Polar.
