I LOVE this flat iron! My hair is below shoulder lenght, very, very curly, frizzy, and THICK! It's that type of hair that has to be very long to look good curly. It takes me 20 minutes to straighten my hair when it is dry. I wash it in the morning, let it dry during the day (I have no patience for blow drying), then straighten it in 20 minutes (yes, I did time it... several times). Its great! I have two small children and have never had the time to straighten my hair before, but 20 minutes once or twice a week I can handle. IMO it was worth every penny.
Oh, I do use a leave in conditioner and oil type defrizzer to help with the frizzies.

Rating: - Expensive Piece of Junk without a Warranty
DO NOT BUY A FAROUK FLAT IRON. I recently purchased a Farouk flat iron. After about 5 weeks, it stopped working, so I contacted Farouk to request a replacement. I was told that they do not offer any warranty on items purchased online. So I am stuck with a $100 piece of junk. I will never ever ever buy a Farouk product again. READ THE REST OF THE AMAZON.COM REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY. I wish I had. :(

Rating: - Little expensive but worth it!
I purchased this straightener after my sister used it on my hair. It leaves your hair soft and looks good all day. I would definitely buy this iron again and probably will if/when this one goes out.

Rating: - Great Product, Until it Dies
I would be giving this product four or five stars, if it didn't die on me today, mid-styling session. I received it four months ago and it is already completely dead. I expected more from this product.

Rating: - Chi pulls my hair
This is a great tool, but it pulls my hair. The Chi my daughter bought elsewhere does not pull my hair. Don't understand why this one does.
