It took me a long time to make the switch from a regular toothbrush to an electric one. I had tried the Crest spin brush before. You know the one, you put in a couple of AA batteries and it supposedly gives you a great clean. Well, it's crap. It's not waterproof, so eventually the batteries get wet and that just makes a big mess. But I digress. I received my Sonicare by mail after ordering it from Amazon. I got a killer deal (50 percent off regular price), so that really influenced my decision. However, I also have sensitive gums and my dentist had been recommending one of these for a while. I charged it up and started to use it. And my teeth have never felt cleaner! The Sonicare e7300 has a digital battery display, as well as a 2-minute timer that lets you know every 30 seconds that you need to move on to a different area. I never timed my brushing before, but I've heard it's the best way to keep your teeth healthy. I had excellent oral hygiene before. Now, I've reached the pinnacle with my Sonicare.

I mentioned before the problem with lesser electric toothbrushes. The Sonicare base is completely sealed and waterproof. I've had mine for a little over a month now and decided to see if the promise that it's dishwasher safe was true. Sure enough, I ran it (the base, not the brush) through a dish cycle last night. It works just fine, and my toothbrush looks brand new. I recommend this product to everyone. Two minor complaints are the noise it makes (it's a high-pitched whine, but if you know physics, you know vibration through a medium produces sound) and battery life. It says you get two weeks' use out of one charge, to make it easy to travel with it. I get about 12 days out of one charge. Not too far off the mark, but that's a little annoying. Otherwise, it's perfect! Pick one up today. You'll have a dentist clean feeling twice a day, without all the poking and prodding.

This is the second time I purchase this product. I'm very happy with this toothbrush and it truly makes a difference when used daily. Gives you the clean feeling a regular toothbrush doesn't usually give you. I have no complaints thus far. Only wish the toothbrush heads would be a little cheaper.

I was used to the battery operated Oral B cross-action toothbrush but when i decided to give this a try, it changed the way i looked at my cross action toothbrush. It was that much better and my teeth definitely has this sensation after I brush my teeth.
