This is our 2nd unit and works great (first one lasted I guess 25+ years). We love poached eggs and they are perfect every time. The non stick coating on the poaching cups is a great improvement over our old one that was glass. I can't remember how long our first one lasted, but it was many years and many eggs. This is the best on the market, and the price wasn't bad. It earns a 10 star rating from our household.

I thought this would be a waste of money. I was WRONG!! This little gadget makes perfect eggs every time. I have never been able to make decent poached eggs. That is .. before I bought this. My husband loves them. They look perfect & taste great!!

We got our first poacher 46 years ago as a wedding gift. It finaly bite the dust. We wouldn't take anything for this excellent product. Except a million dollars.

Rating: - Really Terrific and Reliable Egg Cooker
This egg cooker is the old reliable Sunbeam (made by Oster, which is Sunbeam) and I am so extremely happy with it that I bought another one for my sister. It cooks just as well as always, no screw-ups, and is easy to use and clean. Also, it turns itself off when the signal goes, so you will not have to worry about a hot appliance cooking away if you didn't hear the "click" when the eggs are done. I had another egg cooker so badly designed that you had to actually unplug the unit to turn it off...this one is therefore much safer. Highly recommended.
