Electronics : HP(R) Multipurpose Paper, 8 1/2in. x 11in., 20 Lb., 96 Brightness, Ream Of 500 Sheets

Rating: - great paper--but watch where you buy it !!!
I recently bought a new printer and I got a ream of this paper as a promotional item at the time I bought my printer. I am very impressed. In fact, this multipurpose 92 brightness paper by Hewlett Packard gives you something to sing about! I use this paper with my inkjet printers; and I can use it to make signs to tape to my front door indicating to delivery people which doorbell to ring!

The paper is not expensive for all that you get; and it almost never jams in my printer at home. Nevertheless, I always fan the paper to make sure that it doesn't jam. After I fan the paper to make sure two pieces of paper aren't stuck to each other, then I place it in my inkjet printer.

In addition, this paper can also be used in laser printers, copiers and plain paper fax machine. Each page is a clean cut 8 ½ inches by 11 inches. Great!

This paper never "goes stale," so stock up on it if you can catch a sale on it. Moreover, this is excellent paper that avoids ink from smearing as it is printed on the page. Great!

I feel terrible that some people have not had a good experience buying this paper on the Internet. I would recommend that you shop for this carefully.

Rating: - Great Paper - but watch out for this add !!!
This paper is great. I've used it for years - bright clean and crisp. My issue here is this add. Rule of thumb, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. If you are looking at this add and it is less than $30 for a CASE, this is a false add. This paper normaly costs about $42/case. Though I called Amazon to ask if it was real, they neither agreed or disagreed. I guess that's not unfair to expect. So I placed the order. All info coming from Amazon says it was a CASE, but when I got a conformation from Office Depot, the e-mail said REAM. So I called Office Depot, and after some time, they said yes it was a CASE and that they would add a note to the order to make sure if I had a problem later. Well I did have a problem later, and when checking the order, no entries were of course made. So what does Office Depot say? "We don't honor errors made on the internet, either at Amazon.com OR OfficeDepot.com." So that's great, they can print anything, and have no responsilbility for honesty. I can understand a mistake, but sometimes, you have to eat them. What really ticks me off is that after all that (and they did refund my money, but not the gas to go and pick it up !), is that this add is still here with the same error. So unless this add is greater than $30/case (more likely >$40), then don't bother!

Rating: - Shipping and Tax Equals Cost of Paper
This is a review of the combination experience of this paper and Office Depot. Because the order was cancelled this is not a review of the paper itself which I'm sure is just fine. I just received a note from Office Depot that my order was cancelled. Well, that turned out to be good because although this box of paper is a good price at just over $38, the shipping is almost the same price at over $35! With tax that comes to just under $80 that would have been charged for this box of paper. Watch out for shipping charges.

Rating: - Good, but maybe 6 or 7 sheets more would have been better
Lets get started! Everybody needs paper, even indians in peru ands people with no hands. why? Becauase at this price youd be an idiot not to buy it!! I thought it would cost so much to buy 500 sheets of paper, maybe in the region of $60-70. Think about it, 500 pages, thats nearly half of a thousand! If youre really awesome (unlikely) you could actually use the pages to write a book then sell it for $100 and be rich like Stephen Kang. I used most of the paper to print anti terrorist propaganda, not becauase i dont like terrorists, but cause i wanted to use up all 500 pages so i could buy more! But i digress, the only issue i had with the paper was that it comes in multiples of 100, something that ihave an inherent fear of. Oh and also ,its called multi purpose paper but it isnt really all that multi purposeful. Like yeah, you draw on it (check out my pencil reviews for the best one!!) but the paper cant be used to, say, fuel a lawnmower, or build a beautiul living russian bride etc. All in all, i was super pleased with this product, i really think paper>>> rainforests all the way after experiencing Hewlett-Packard (wot a name!! lol) Multipurpose paper, 81/2inx11in,20lb,92brightness,Ream of 500 sheets.
