This Nancy book was fine for young Nancy fans. However, the "fancy" words used within the story lack sincerity, and the luster we have come to expect from Nancy seems to be missing. It is an average book.

Rating: - Fancy Nancy
This is one of many of the Fancy Nancy series that my granddaughter has. This wasn't quite as funny as some but equally enchanting if you like the series. As always, the books from Amazon arrive in a timely manner and perfect condition.

Rating: - Cute little reader.
This is a sweet, simple story for beginning readers. Nothing too "fancy" here, but the illustrations are great as always, and I love how Nancy turns a disappointment into an opportunity. My 4.5 year old enjoyed this, but I haven't seen her reaching for it with much regularity.

Rating: - Difficult for Level 1
This book uses many words that are too difficult for an emerging reader.
Compared to other advertised books that are also labeled "Level 1" it is much more challenging and requires much adult intervention.
It is educational in it's content.

Its very cute. Fancy Nancy is a collection to get in hardback. Her stories are going to stand the test of time.
