Printer works well, scanner is Ok also. Some problems with communication with computer. My one complaint is not being able to leave fresh paper in the paper tray of the machine. When I shut it down I also return the tray to the closed position, paper has to be removed to do that, this was not a practice I had to do with HP. Not a big complaint. Photo printing is exellent, I have also found though,that the ink cartrages are not as inexpencive as clamed in commercials.

First time user of an all in one printer with photo printing. Love the price of the ink. Easy to use. No problems using Vista. Only complaint I have is that it's noisey. Sounds like it's getting ready to take off. Other than that I'm pleased with the printer.

This is the first printer that I have set up with NO dramma what so ever.
The set up was a snap for this computor dummy and it works well with my
Micro- Vista.
I own an easy share KODAK camera and I wanted this printer because you can plug the camera right into the printer and get started printing and viewing you're picks with out even turning you're computor on.

The only draw back that I have noticed so far is the paper holder is a little tempermental. Sometimes it will pull 2 pieces of paper through
at a time. For the most part other than that ( which is only a small draw back for me ) It has been a great printer, scanner and copier.

The money I have saved on ink is incredible! Those H.P. ink hogs can cost around 65 to 70 [..]a pop for ink. ... Read More

I purchased the ESP-5 based on a coworker's experience with Kodak All-in-One printers. The biggest selling point was the cost of the replacement ink. Having spent a small fortune on HP ink over the years on two HP printers, I was ready for a change. The set-up of the Kodak was pain free and the initial printing of pictures went off without a hitch. I used HP 4X6 photo paper that I had left over and was impressed with the color and quality of the prints. Then things got ugly. Addressing an envelope caused a paper jam. After clearing the jam, the printer no longer printed properly. After running through the trouble shooting diagnostics, I got an error message stating that the problem required calling the Help line. I purchased this printer new from Sam's and installed it on a PC running windows XP Home with SP3 to replace my functional, but aging, Lexmark printer.

After assembly, installation of included Easyshare software, updating drivers, and registering the product, it came time to print a test picture. The picture came out with only blue and black colors, no red and yellow. Read the manual and ran diagnostics - got Error codes 3501 and 3515. Then ran maintenance routines to clean print heads, align print heads and unclog ink jets. Each maintenence routine required a test page to be printed, all coming out with less and less quality - only blue and black ink would print, and now with faded banding spaced at 1/2 inch intervals.
