- Outstanding Printer...
Our whole family has been very satisfied with this printer. It is amazingly fast for an inkjet machine and the quality of the printouts is first rate. The black letters are crisp and the color (and overall photo print) quality was surprising. Did not really expect such nice results since the printer does not have quite the pixel image quality that the equivalent Canon machine advertised. All the same, I am glad to have purchased this unit given the availability of ink cartridges wherever we shop and their relatively low cost.

As far as consumables are concerned, although we have yet to use any one of our cartridges up, we have printed many sheets so far and do not appear to have even dented the ink read-out levels.

- Great all in one
I bought this printer because it was network capable, it print fantastic Photos, love the individual ink cartridges, Found it was very easy to install on the network and share with my work PC and home.

- So far, so good....
So far, this printer has been exactly what I was looking for. I downloaded the newest software from HP's website, hooked the printer up to my router with a CAT5 cable, and installed the software on both of my computers (running XP Professional). The software immediately found and installed the printer, and all functions have worked flawlessly on both computers.

I haven't had it long enough to know if I will have problems with the printheads like some have said, but for now, it's exactly what I was looking for: A network capable AIO machine with great quality prints at laser-like cost.

I purchased a 3-year extended warranty from Square-Trade for $14, just in case. Hopefully, I won't need to use it.

I have had HP printers for years. It is all I would ever buy. I have owned several HP's over the years personally and have managed IT departments and HP is the only brand of printer I would allow in to the environment. I currently have an HP 8000 class printer and the L7590

No more.

The ownership of the L7590 was an evolution. We first bought an L7580. My wife needed to print some color output for her business that she manages out of the home and of course I suggested we get the HP business class inkjet. She needed to get the printouts done in a couple of weeks so I ordered it ground. It arrived a few days before she needed it, no worries right? Wrong.

So the printer arrives D.o.A. I call HP up and have to wait 10 minutes before talking to a very nice person ... Read More

- This printer sucks!
This is the worst printer I have ever bought. The print heads contantly need to be cleaned in order for it to print right. It prints with blank spaces every inch, all the way up and down the page. cleaning the printheads fixes the problem most of the time, but if you aren't CONSTANTLY printing something, the problem will return after a while. Best Buy replaced the whole unit once for me, but the second unit did the same thing, and since more time had gone buy now they are pointing their finger at HP, and refusing to exchange it again. Printheads have been replaced twice by HP, temporarily fixing the problem, but the problem is still rears its ugly head. HP won't exchange it for another model. And Best Buy will keep dodging you around with quick fixes until their 90 days is up and then tell you they can't do ... Read More
