Mirror's Edge is, without a doubt, a masterpiece in terms of its presentation, full-body awareness, ease of play, and overall design. The fact is, the gameplay and style of Mirror's Edge is one-of-a-kind, and that kind is not for everyone. I myself would probably put my 2-3 playthroughs down as some of the most fun I've ever had gaming, but a lot of people may not be able to get into the platforming. Mirror's edge gives gamers a new way of moving and interacting with the world that can be very, very cool if you enjoy that kind of thing.

That said, the real setback is that the game comes with a (when I bought it) $60 pricetag, and though I find that it has a lot of replay value, some people may only play through the story mode once and then be done with it (a feat which takes at ... Read More

This was one of those games that was made just to Showcase the Power of the systems...but its not really a game i would Play for a long period of time...plus Assassins Creed and every Spiderman game after part 2 have already tackled the whole "Building Hopping" theme and are Better Games than Mirrors Edge. i say try the Demo and see how you like it. good graphics. decent controls..but it wont keep you interested for long. try the demo of Mirrors Edge for Free on xbox Live..then try Assassins Creed for 15 bucks at Gamestop. better experience and 45 bucks cheaper.

I just got the game recently for a holiday gift. It is so good! I only played one of the chapters just to see what the game was like. It was great. I stayed on the training level for 15 minutes after learning the controls very quickly just to jump around and play around with the game. The game has many great features and small little extra bonuses that are new or rare to video game style. If you are considering buying this game, you no longer have to worry; buy it. All thumbs up!

I was very excited about Mirror's Edge when I read about it. It looked like a new, beautiful, and innovative game. It looked really fun. I was correct about new, beautiful, and innovative, but the fun seems to be missing.

Mirror's Edge is an intense first-person run-and-jump platforming game similar to Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia but with a focus on speed. The game's premise is that the player must quickly determine the most effective route from point A to point B across the rooftops pulling some insanely cool Hollywood style stunts along the way. Graphically, the game is beautiful and I especially like the color palette.
