The giant Vari Kennel is great for giant dogs like Great Danes, Greyhounds, Newfoundlands, St. Bernards, and Bull Mastiffs. This extra durable and highly versatile carrier is the ideal solution to taking your pet on vacations, vet visits, grooming appointments, pet shows, and more. Airline approved transportation easily converts to a pet shelter or bed--and is great for crate training. The Vari Kennel line is made of high-impact plastic for years of easy-to-clean use--with wire vent grills and doors. Engineering grade fasteners are nontoxic and have a high tensile strength, greater than steel, that resists loosening due to vibrations. Assembles in minutes without any tools. We especially appreciate the dual rod spring-loaded latch that's easy to operate but stays very secure. Plenty of ventilation--with side rail that prevents carrier from sitting flat against wall and blocking air circulation. Please be advised that only the small and medium sized Vari Kennels have the built-in handle on top. Airline Usage The USDA and IATA regulate transportation of animals such as dogs and cats. To prepare your kennel for airline usage, it must be marked clearly on the top and at least one side with the words "LIVE ANIMALS" in letters not less than one inch high. Arrows should indicate the upright position of the kennel. Clean bedding (such as straw or shredded paper) should be used in the kennel. Water should be available at least every 12 hours after transportation is initiated. Display

I breed and raise Great Danes, and this kennel is a wonderful addition to the house. It is big enough for a teenager, and makes them feel secure and safe. Much easier to clean than the wire ones, and you can travel with your giant dog on some airplanes. Too large for any but the biggest planes. But if you work to find an aircraft large enough to accomodate the mammoth size, you can take your friend where ever you go in this crate.
