I bought this camera because my previous digital camera was hugs, bulky, and just difficult to use, and I was getting ready to go overseas for a few weeks as part of an international adoption. I wanted something that was compact and took good pics. This pretty red camera has a huge (3") display that fills almost the whole back side of the camera. The one thing I noticed right away is that when you snap a picture, it immediately takes the pic. My old digital camera had a noticeable delay in between pushing the shutter button and when the picture was actually taken, leaving plenty of time to move and blur the picture and plenty of time to miss those precious spontaneous pics. WE CANT FIND WHERE THE CAMERA SHOWS ITS BATTERY USAGE AS SHOWN IN THE DIRECTIONS. WE LOVE THE CAMERA BECAUSE IT IS SMALL AND HAS THE ALL THE OPTIONS. THANKS!

My last camera was a Kodak and it was 8 years old. This new camera is just what I needed to carry in my purse. I hope it is as reliable as my last one. Love the red!

I purchased a Kodak EasyShare camera, M1033 10MP red digital camera through Amazon. Upon receipt of the camera, I followed Kodak's directions and first downloaded the included software into my computer. This caused my computer to crash and cost me $190 for the services of a computer technician to get my computer back up and running. The technician stated that the Kodak software frequently adversely affects the operation of computers because it, simply, is inferior. Ironically, I am very pleased with the performance of the camera itself but the software has convinced me that I will buy no more Kodak products.
