With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message.

In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this handset comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call. Other great features include a 50-station shared phonebook, a handy charge indicator, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient intercom feature. This phone meets my needs - no interference when talking, no answering machine, functions are easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the numbers do not light up when dialing, so unless you are in a well-lit room, you will have trouble seeing the numbers. Other than that, I am very satisfied with its performance. It has a very clear signal, which was my main concern.
