Like TomTom's other navigation systems, the ONE XL gives you coverage in all fifty of the United States, as well as Canada--all stored on 1 GB of internal memory.

But it's not just the broad geographical coverage that makes the TomTom ONE XL special. The user-friendly design also puts it a step above other navigation systems. The crystal-clear multicolor display makes for exceptionally easy viewing of maps, routes, driving directions, and other traveling information, such as mileage and distance. Measuring 4.3 inches, the TFT display offers an expanded widescreen view of brilliant two- and three-dimensional graphics. The device also features 32 MB RAM and 266 MHz CPU, making it responsive and zippy. Using the USB port and the provided cable, you can use your PC to add your own points of interest. The suction pad the GPS come with tend to fall down when fixed to the windshield.

Other than that I'm fine with it , the screen is wide enough to dial easily with the fingers.

Had this GPS for about a month, and it works just fine. At one time it gave me a wrong direction; told me to go left when i was suppose to go right. But it is worth having especially if youre in the military.

It stopped working the 3rd time I use it. That's on 26th of Dec. 2008. And till today I still cannot connect to the tech support service yet, no matter how long I waited on the phone. Can I return this item?

- Tom Tom is better than On Star...
We have a new vehicle with on star and when we needed it, when the PA trunpike was shut down, their directions sent us right back on the turnpike, even though I spoke to a real person and advised them of the problem....Tom Tom give alternate route choices....and it does not tell you that you have left your appointed path when you go through a tunnel.
