Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 is quite simply one of the best golf games ever. I am really into first-person shooters (Battlefield 2, Rainbow Six), racing games (GTR2, Race 07 WTCC, Need for Speed), and adventure games (Oblivion) and found it easy to become immersed in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008.

The graphics are very detailed and precise. The scenery is gorgeous and everything runs smoothly with full details (on the auto adjustment setting) on a P4 3.0 GHz rig with a Radeon X1950 GT.

The sound quality is top notch. The ambient noises such as duck quacks and bird chirps immerse the player in the golf environment.

The custom character system is similar to the system used in The Godfather where you can adjust the character's facial and body features. One can ... Read More

This is the best Golf Game that I played so far.
Players can craft their own character with attributes and improve your game with every round played from novice to pro. With experince you accumulate $$ to upgrade your equipment and clothing....
There are a variety of games (stroke, skins, elimination) that will allow for multiple players. A variety of realistic courses to choose from to play and you can choose a variety of conditions as well ... Overall this is a treat to play...
You and your buddies will really get wrapped up playing this...
I recomend that you purchse a 3rd party arcade controller (XGame-XArcade)with a 4in trackball for better play than a mouse

I like the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 DVD. It has inproved over the 06 game. there are some new thing to get use to. But over all it plays about the same. It has some grate looking graphics. And new corses to play. A very fun game to play with frends.

These confidence drills are saved and analyzed to identify your strengths and weaknesses to improve your game.23 golfers and 14 courses make this game a treat, as well as the game face feature which allows you to make a pretty freaky replica of yourself to play on the course.Add in the ESPN ticker with updates and breaking news and you have a game that is fun and challenging at the same time. A must buy for golf fans as well as sports fans alike.
