The Black & Decker 24-volt cordless mulching mower gives you the power to mow or mulch your lawn without the mess, noise, smell and hassle of a gas-powered mower or the limitations of a cord. Using a 24-volt sealed lead acid battery, this mower has enough power to mow up to a 1/3-acre lawn on one charge (grass conditions will affect run-time). It can be operated as a mower by attaching a bag to catch the clippings, or it can be operated as an effective mulcher using a mulch plate; both the bag and the mulch plate are included. The rechargeable 24-volt battery conveniently regains up to 60-70 percent of its full power in only 4 hours, and up to 100 percent in 16 hours; the mower turns on quickly with just a switch. All four wheels can easily be adjusted with a one-touch lever to shift the blade height from 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches; the push handle folds down when not in use for more compact storage. This product comes fully assembled, is backed by a full 2-year warranty, and the 19-inch, tough polymer cutting deck has a lifetime warranty.

Bought 2 yrs ago, zero probs. Only have 2300 SF lawn but I can do the yard 2-3 times before charging which would equal an above average lawn. Does a brilliant job and I will never use a gas mower (or corded again).

Very pleased with product. Easy unpacking and setup. Outstanding height adjustment for cutting and use, and rear bag works well. Cuts reasonably well although not quite as even a cut as with a gas power mower. However, the advantages of the cordless electric easily outweigh the liabilities of gas, oil, and emissions!!

Say goodbye to pulling that damn cord and destroying the environment with noise and pollution. $400 was a lot of money for me, but this product has made me really happy - totally worth it in the time and frustration it saves. Well constructed and very reliable. Extremely easy to use.

I ordered this lawnmower after my husband saw a recommendation for it in Men's Health. We love that it's ENERGY STAR-rated and is good for the environment. It cuts great, and we don't have to fool around with gas or anything like that. Our lawn looks terrific, and my husband has said the mower is easy to use and relatively lightweight. And, he's able to get through our lawn (about 0.20 acres) on one charge.

Amazon also has the best price. I searched many other stores, and didn't see any place with a price as good as what I found online.

works like a dream for my med. sized yard - only wish there was some way the factory would install a "low battery" light so I know where to stop in my lawn so that while it is recharging (over night) the people on my street won't look at me strange... do buy this item!!!!
