I wasn't happy with this product and returned it for credit. The player wouldn't play some of the discs that I had and would just show " no disc"

I was very happy with Amazon's return policy. Amazon arranged for pick-up and return delivery and gave full credit for the sale.

For those with minimal space for an entertainment center this is ideal in appearance and sound.

We're pleased with the unit. It doesn't have "big" sound, but then we didn't pay $400 for it, either. We had a Coby, then a replacement Coby when the first one died. When the replacement died (4 months) we decided to go back to brand names and picked this one because it is small enough to fit on the bookcase in my wife's office. She's happy with it.

Portable music systems have been changing substantially over the past few years. They just keep getting smaller and smaller, yet some can still produce the kind of sound you would expect from a much larger system. The older table top and bookshelf stereo systems are quickly becoming a thing of the past, and have been replaced by mini and micro systems. Even the mini stereo systems are becoming harder and harder to find these days. Well my oldest daughter has a mini Hi-Fi system by Panasonic, which she has been extremely happy with, and now that my youngest daughter is at the age of listening to music nearly all of the time, she wanted a system just like her older sister. I purchased this product because Sony is known for quality products, and the price was very reasonable. I was blown away with the sound quality for such an inexpensive CD player!!!! I certainly recommend this because the sound is better than many more expensive players.
