I'm very impressed with this shaver. It gives a much closer shave than the Norelco I used in the past, and holds a charge well.

- So far it seems to be a superb shaver.
I've not had the shaver very long, but so far I'm very happy with it. My beard grows in every direction there is, so it's very hard for an electric shaver to get the whiskers. This one gets them fairly easy.

This is the closest shave from an electric for me. Better than the Braun! And the cost is just a little more than buying a new screen and cutter blades for the Braun.

i think for the value, this shaver is decent. still paid around 50/60 with shipping. however, this shaver is very simple, no bells and whistles. i used the earlier model before this one and i think i liked the other one better. overall though, i think you can do worse; the battery is very good on this shaver as well

The Remington Microscreen rechargeable razor is a good product. It gives a close shave if you insure that you've covered all areas thoroughly.

It does leave some longer sthat lay down against the face which you have to go back and cut with the trimmer. Following a 24 hour recharge the battery stays charged for about a week before needing to be recharged.

Overall, I'd say that Remington Microscreen 500 is an 8 out of 10 when compared to a blade. It's quick and easy.
