- A great Anti-Flea Product for Dogs
I had used another Flea Treatment for many years and it worked great until the last few years. I asked a dog sitter I had if they could recommend something else as what I was using didn't seem to work any more.
Advantage solved my problem. It works great.

- Good for fleas
This medicine is good for protection against fleas, but it doesn't have tic medicine. There are thousands of species of tics out there - it is not a good idea to leave your animal unprotected. There are many types of tics out there that will kill your family pet.

I highly recommend Advantage. We had always used Advantage, but we bought Frontline b/c that's all the vet had at that time. Unfortunately, we could tell the difference very soon afterward. Our dog was constantly scratching, and we would see fleas crawling over her after every time we took her out, something we never saw while she was on Advantage. We bought the Advantage (even though we didn't finish the Frontline), and within a few days, the fleas disappeared, and haven't returned. We won't buy anything else.

I actually purchased this product from Amazon after my veterinarian's office stopped selling Advantage and instead sells K9 Advantix now. Because I thought perhaps Advantage had changed the look of the box, I tried the K9 Advantix on my pug for about 3 months (I also used the one for cats on my cat for 2 months). After all of that time using the K9, my husband was sitting on the couch and a flea jumped on him. We have NEVER had fleas in our house, NEVER! We had always used Advantage on our animals and by this time I had realized it was definately a different product. The K9 Advantix was returned to the vet, and I purchased the Advantage from Amazon.
