Better Than Bouillon concentrated bases are made from meat (or vegetables). This gives them a richer, more robust flavor than ordinary bouillons. No MSG, no fat, lower sodium: Better Than Bouillon bases are fat free and have 1/3 less salt than ordinary bouillons.

- Many Uses
Better Than Bullion - Mushroom makes a flavorful rub for vegetables and meats that you are roasting. All by itself, or with the usual herbs you use in dry rub. Just remember, this stock is salted. It can enrich salad dressings too. Use it as you would an herb to season all sorts of dishes.
*Instead of salt: Substitute 1 Tbs Better Than Bouillon(tm) for 1 tsp salt.
*For reduced-fat wok cooking: Substitute ratio of 2 tsp Better Than Bouillon(tm) per cup water for the oil.
*For simple gravies: Make a roux of 2 Tbs flour and 2 Tbs butter; add 2 cups broth (2 tsp Better Than Bouillon(tm) Base dissolved in 2 cups hot water). Add meat juices if available. Season with pepper to taste.

- Flavor bases that have it going on.
I've tried a lot of bases, including commercial flavoring bases. This company seems to put more REAL flavor and less salt in their bases. Maybe that's why it's more expensive, but to me it's worth it. The mushroom base is the first one that caught my attention. It's delicious. Then I tried the lobster, etc.

- Fantastic Vegatable Base!
This item has been a staple in my pantry for at least two years. As a vegatarian, I find that many foods lack flavor. Many stocks are overly salty and seem to ruin my dishes. This stock however is excellent and lasts seemingly forever. I don't think it is possible to be dissappointed in this stock.
