Editorial Review:

Description:
Gene and Karen york are the living embodiment of The American Dream, Rich, influential attorneys, they have everything a couple could want... except a child.

When the Yorks learn of a beautiful baby girl waiting to adopted, they instantly fall in love with baby Delia and adopt her. But terror and destruction seem to follow Delia wherever she goes. The preist who baptized her mysteriously dies, the psychic fair she attends burns in a fiery holocaust and her nanny falls from a second story window, impaling herself on a merry-go-round. Soon, Delia's mother begins to questions the "conincidence" of these catastrophes. Her thoughts can't help but turn toward the biblical prophesy of Armageddon... the final confrontation between the forces of good and evil, begining with the birth of Satan in human form.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Movies like this are why we get so many remakes
10-years after the 3rd Omen movie, The Omen IV was the movie to restart the franchise and keep it going. But its movies like this are why we have so many remakes. I wasn't expecting a masterpiece of filmmaking, but I was expecting a fairly decent movie; something that would serve as a decent time killer. But what I got was one really, really bad movie. Omen IV starts off weak, but watchable, but than it just goes down and becomes a complete waste of time.

The screenplay written by Brian Taggert wasn't very good, but not the worst I have come across. The script was weak and the biggest problem is it tries too hard to be like the original and it fails. The characters are fairly decent, but the script never really becomes much. The problem was the script just wasn't very interesting ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Omen IV- Go back to sleep!
All this movie did was ruin a pretty good trilogy. The Omen was over. The Final Conflict resolved everything and there was no reason for this lackluster drivel called a sequel. Now I'll be fair and say this one wasn't totally bad. The new anti-christ was evil to the core and vicious. The complete opposite of Damiens innocence. But that's where the pros stop.

This movie didn't introduce anything new. It just felt like a rehash with an ending left open to repeat the last two before this. If you already own the first three, forget this one even exist. It can possibly ruin your memories of the last ones.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Really, was it that good?
I read the book Omen 2 on a flight to Vegas and I thought it was good book. I've been putting off buying The Omen set for awhile now and I finally got the set at a good price. The first one everyone claims is a classic and its hard to argue. Its a good film but I wouldnt put it in the top twenty horror movies of all time. The movie had its moments but I hate movies with religious overtones. Not a big fan on religion, wheter it be god or satan. The second film was alright but the rest of the series stinks. All in all, I didnt enjoy the Omen series that much.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I don't know why this is getting such bad reviews?
This movie takes place after the death of Damien. His child is born...Delia and she's awesome and a terror. She is ready to fufill the prophecy to rule the world and be educated in Rome. Her adopted father is in politics and will help her all the way along with her baby brother who is actually another devil child. It's all about politics and running or ruining the world...according to the book of Daniel that her adopted mother finds out before it's too late.

It's my favorite of the quatrilogy actually. Little Delia is adorable and mean but it's so fun to watch. I recommend the whole box set of these movies but this one is my favorite.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - The Omen 4
Anyfan of The Omen who has faithfully watched the first three and not seen this one should stop right now so you'll continue to have great memories from the frightfest called the Omen. The Omen 4 (1992) is the worst sequel in the history of horror film sequels and I'm including the worst of the Halloween and Friday the 13th sequels.

The Omen 4 is about Damien's spawn and the next coming of the antichrist. The problem is the Damien's child who is set to be the next antichrist is a girl. The explanation of how a girl is the next antichrist doesn't work not to mention that she's an annoying spoiled brat. The original omen worked because you weren't sure what to believe about Damien since he was likable. Delia is not likable and the story is lame.
